What personal data do we collect and why do we collect them?

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the IP address and data of the visitor’s browser, to aid in the detection of spam.

An anonymised sequence of characters created from your email (also called a hash) can be sent to Gravatar to see if you use the service. The Gravatar privacy policy is available here. After your comment has been approved, your profile picture is publicly visible next to your comment.

Media

If you send images to the site, avoid sending those that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download these images from the site and extract their location data from them.

Contact form

When a visitor fills out the contact form on the site, we collect the data shown on the form (Name, E-mail, Phone, Subject and Message), to provide a personalized service, as requested in the contact form, filled of their own volition of the visitor. In addition, the IP address and data of the visitor’s browser are also collected to aid in the detection of spam.

Cookies
